  • Windows Enterprise LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) is a specialized version of the Microsoft operating system designed for mission-critical business devices, where maximum stability, security, and the absence of functional changes are the top priorities.

    Key LTSC Principles for Business

    • No unwanted functional changes. Once the system is installed, its user interface and features remain identical throughout the entire support period. This prevents situations where an update might unexpectedly disrupt the operation of specific business software.
    • A "stripped-down" system. LTSC versions do not include consumer-oriented apps (such as Xbox, Weather, games, or even Microsoft Edge in certain versions) that are frequently updated via the Microsoft Store.
    • Use cases. It is used in medical equipment, computers controlling production lines (in OT environments), ATMs, airport terminals, and other specialized devices.
